With over two decades of experience in the financial services industry, Rafael has developed deep expertise in serving domestic and offshore hedge funds, private equity funds, funds of funds, and broker-dealers. His advisory work spans critical fund start-up considerations such as organizational structure, economic modeling, and strategic business planning. Rafael also leads the firm’s financial statement preparation group, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering accurate, timely reporting for clients. In addition, he plays a key role in managing and strengthening client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on complex financial and operational matters.

Since joining Integrated Solutions in 2006, Rafael has been instrumental in driving the firm’s growth and innovation. He spearheaded the launch of the financial statement preparation group and expanded service offerings to meet the evolving needs of the broader business community. Rafael is also committed to talent development, mentoring staff and fostering a culture of professional excellence within the firm.

Prior to Integrated Solutions, Rafael built a strong foundation in accounting and auditing through roles at leading firms. At Ernst & Young, he served as a supervising senior accountant, focusing on audits for asset management clients. He later worked as a senior hedge fund accountant at International Fund Services (N.A.) L.L.C., providing accounting and administration services to global asset managers. Rafael began his career at Rothstein, Kass & Company P.C., where he specialized in audit and tax compliance for hedge funds and broker-dealers.

Rafael holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Pace University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and serves on the Investment Management, Stock Brokerage, and Digital Assets committees of the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA). In addition to his CPA designation, Rafael maintains Series 7 and Series 27 licenses, underscoring his comprehensive understanding of financial markets and regulatory requirements.
